Beginner Level Summer Camp
On the first day of camp, students dive into the fascinating world of robotics by building a LEGO robot with their team. Throughout the course of the week, instructional periods and individualized mentor instruction help students understand the basics of programming with RoboLab software, and structural building. Students are introduced to touch sensors, light sensors, and rotation sensors, and learn how to program their robot to understand the input given to it by these sensors. Using the new knowledge gained, students program their robot and provide it with customized attachments to autonomously complete fun "missions" given to them by their mentor.
